Justice League Origins - Smallville/DC AU

All stories have a beginning.

An unknown catalyst, perhaps fate, has sparked an increase on the planet Earth of individuals who can harness great powers and are willing to stand up for truth and justice – and in turn its opposite, great evil of equal power, has also arrived to plague the planet.

Gotham City was once one of the most corrupt and dirty cities in the entire world, also home to the famous Wayne family and Wayne Enterprises. Here lies the origin of the legendary Batman and his team, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin. While the Bat-Family may fight to bring Justice, there are still those who resist them. Whether it is mob bosses, or clown princes of crime, someone is out there seeking injustice; the fight for Gotham is seemingly never-ending.

Across America, the meteorite ridden town of Smallville is home to Clark Kent. Working in the neighbouring city of Metropolis, Clark as Kal-El and his allies Green Arrow, Aquaman, Cyborg, Black Canary, Impulse, the Manhunter, and with the help of his long time friend, Chloe Sullivan guiding these young heroes they seek to make a change in today's world. But already Clark and the league have come across enemies that could have threatened the very existence of the planet.

The very fabric surrounding the planet is changing. Aliens have visited Earth and super powered individuals are engaged in a constant battle of good against evil. There is no more hiding these facts in the shadows of society’s ignorance; nothing will ever be the same again.

Justice League Origins is an AU roleplay based on the Smallville show, and bringing in more DC and original characters. Plots are based on characters involved, and suggestions by our members to help the characters develop and grow. Justice League Origins takes you above and beyond the show, allowing its members to become their favourite heroes and villains and tell their stories.
